Clear Water Original resin removes nitrates, organics and harmful proteins from aquarium column.

The resin works on the basis of ion exchange, your fish will thrive and water clarity is greatly improved.

• It prevents the growth of harmful fungi (Achlya, Saprolegnia) in the filtration systems, and prevent them from clogging up the filter media
• As the only product of its kind on the market, it does not remove substances that are important for the proper growth of plants. Please be aware of non-branded imitations currently on the marketplace.
• Changing the colour of the media does not affect its performance, it is natural
• The media material is encapsulated in a water-resistant synthetic bag and sewn with waterproof thread
• Simple to regenerate using salt
• Can be regenerated up to 300 times, or expires after 15 years, whichever comes sooner.

Please note, crystal clear water is not beneficial for all types of aquariums and fish species.

How to use Clear Water?

For internal filters, slide the media bag between the tank glass and the sponge or place it into the sponge. You can also hide it behind a stone.

For external filters, place it in one of the filter media basket / chamber. It is advisable to place Clear Water resin after a pre-filter.

It can be used continuously and occasionally.

After a while, the media loses its ability to bind more nitrates. This is most accurately measured by a nitrate test. If the nitrate level in your aquarium has reached 50 mg / L, regenerate the media.

The period between regeneration cycles is approximately four to eight weeks, depending on the species of fish you keep and the levels of stock in your aquarium. 

It is recommended to keep the media moist when not in use, sealed in a plastic container or a bag.
