The water temperature in natural reservoirs such as rivers or lakes is not constant. Water reacts to thermal changes in the air and changes with them even throughout the day. This is, of course, a gradual and natural process that does not harm water inhabitants. The functioning of living organisms is adversely affected primarily by rapid temperature fluctuations.

Taking care of the sensitive inhabitants of your aquarium

Taking into account the thermal well-being of the most demanding species of aquarium animals, a few years ago we created the UltraHeater heater, already recognized by aquarists. We have equipped it with an extremely sensitive electronic thermostat operating with a precision of +/- 0.25°C. As soon as the water temperature in the aquarium drops by the above-mentioned 0.25°C, the heater automatically starts working and increases the water temperature to the programmed temperature. Importantly, thanks to the Smart Heating system, the water heating process runs smoothly, without sudden temperature changes and without stressing the sensitive aquarium inhabitants. A big advantage of the heater, affecting its safety, is the casing. The plastic it is made of does not heat up and does not break, which makes the heater suitable for breeding both sensitive spider mites and rays, as well as strong aquatic turtles.

She felt day and night

To create thermal conditions in the aquarium as close to natural as possible, we have equipped the UltraHeater with the DAY&NIGHT system. This functionality allows you to recreate the daily temperature amplitude that characterizes natural aquatic ecosystems in the aquarium. All you need to do is select the appropriate heater operating mode and program the temperatures at which the device should operate during the day and at night. As evening approaches, the sensitive sensor will respond to the reduced access to light, and the heater will automatically start working in night mode. This means that the water temperature in the aquarium will gradually decrease to the value you have indicated. A similar process will occur at sunrise – the UltraHeater DAY&NIGHT heater will gradually heat the water until it reaches the desired temperature.
