What can the HW-3000 filter computer do?
Pump performance programming:
It allows you to control the pump capacity by increasing and decreasing the voltage. This means that when using, for example: a minimum capacity of 1200l / h, the filter will consume less electricity than in the case of a maximum capacity of 3000l / h. Until now, the efficiency in filters was controlled by throttling the flow with valves, which accelerated the aging of the pump and did not reduce power consumption.
Programming the UV lamp:
The lamp is controlled by a computer. The user can program the number of hours of lamp operation for the whole day. Additionally, the computer sums up the hours in which the UV lamp has been used and gives the result on the LCD display. Thanks to this, the user has the ability to control the efficiency of the UV filament itself.
Why control pump performance?
First of all, the filter can adjust its performance to the size of the aquarium. Thanks to a wide range of performance, it can operate an aquarium from 120l to 1500l. In addition, thanks to the possibility of changing the pump capacity, the user can reflect the changing atmospheric conditions occurring in a given area in nature.
Why control a UV lamp?
The length of the lamp’s operation should be selected according to the size of the aquarium or the conditions in the tank. For example, in the presence of algae or disease, the lamp life may be extended.

Body and materials:

The filter is equipped with four filter baskets. This makes it much easier to keep the filter in order and allows you to adapt the use of various types of cartridges to the needs of the aquarium.
Water inlet and outlet:
The filter has an “aqua-stop” system that blocks the water supply from the hose filter. This valve allows the hoses to be disconnected from the filter cover. It is indispensable during all maintenance works.
The advantage of the HW-3000 filter is undoubtedly the double water inlet. The inlet is via two tubes for different purposes. The bottom tube draws water in the closest possible area to the bottom. The length of this tube can be freely modified by means of additional tube segments. In this way, the filter sucks in impurities lying on the bottom, which are a frequent cause of bottom siltation and deterioration of water quality. The bottom inlet has a strainer to prevent fish, shrimps, plants and other large elements from entering the filter.
The second inlet is partially above the water surface – it is commonly known as a surface skimmer. It takes water directly from its surface, removing any floating impurities and protein that is visible to the human eye as a fat stain. This extremely unsightly coating is highly dangerous to the health and quality of the water, so the filter that neutralizes it ensures the best and complete quality of water filtration.
The hoses can be flooded through a special plug located at the top of the inlet and outlet. This solution enables quick “first” flooding of the hoses before activating the filter.
The water outlet, thanks to the large number of pipes and fittings, can also be freely modified. Long rain showers or adjustable double discharge nozzles can be installed.
Motor and rotor:
Noiseless operation is ensured by a pump with a high operating culture. The pump is based on a ceramic impeller that enables operation in sea water. The engine is characterized by high work culture and great energy efficiency.
