Synthetic rock, made of materials similar in composition to natural rock. It is not ceramics and, unlike it, it is very light. The synthetic rock production process allows for very high porosity. This allows it to be used as a filtration medium for the settlement of aerobic as well as anaerobic bacteria. It has a very high colonization capacity by useful microorganisms. It is a very easy to process product (it can be easily cut and glued). Ready constructions facilitate quick assembly of the aquarium.
Thanks to the use of rock, the maturation process of the aquarium is quick and less turbulent than when using live rock and protects the natural environment by limiting the uncontrolled import of live rock.
